As in the book, the miniseries details a white middle-class neighborhood's resistance to a federally mandated scattered-site public housing development in Yonkers, New York, and how these tensions affected the city as a whole. The miniseries was written by David Simon and journalist William F. Zorzi – whom Simon worked with at The Baltimore Sun and on The Wire. It was directed by Paul Haggis. Six episodes were ordered by HBO and premiered on August 16, 2015.

(Hangul: 시크릿 가든; MR: Sikeurit Gadeun) is a 2010 South Korean television drama, starring Ha Ji-won, Hyun Bin, Yoon Sang-hyun, and Kim Sa-rang. It aired on SBS from November 13, 2010 to January 16, 2011 on Saturdays and Sundays at 22:00 for 20 episodes. An opening which shows a greeting from a weather forecast news reporter in TV to Kim Joo won, a main character, followed by a thunder clap gives a clue to its audiences that there will be an element of fantasy in the story. The story is about a crossing of social classes with a department store CEO Kim Joo-won (Hyun Bin) falling for a stuntwoman Gil Ra-im (Ha Ji-Won).

Secret Garden was a big ratings success,and won a number of awards at both the 2010 SBS Drama Awards and the 47th Paeksang Arts Awards.

Plot

A rationalizing Cinderella story between Gil Ra-im (Ha Ji-Won) a stuntwoman and Kim Joo-won (Hyun Bin) a high-end department store CEO (a modern-day prince charming). Through a misunderstanding while trying to resolve a scandal of his cousin, Oska, a famous singer, Ra-im and Joo-won meet and he finds himself stunned by her coolness. Joo-won, who has sound judgement and does not believe in 'love at the first sight' does quite not understand why he has stuck on her, as her appearance keeps coming to his mind. Then as he pursues her she starts reciprocating his feelings, even though Gil Ra-im is seen as a poor and has a profession that has an invisible existence. However, she has a lot of passion to progress in her career and has a been self-supporting that makes her not believe in fairytales. As two different worlds collide, the development of learning about each other happens. For example, 'Cinderella' has learned about a dress code and 'the prince charming' has learned about the little mermaid's right! Oska is a playboy who wants to lead a hedonistic life and resume his popular status as a hallyu star. Then he reunites with his former love Yoon Seul, who has made a successful directing career for herself. But Yoon Seul wants nothing to do with Oska, rather she has her eyes set on Joo-won. The four become tangled in a love square, that becomes more confusing when Ra-im and Joo-won begin switching bodies.

Premise

Gotham is an American crime television series developed by Bruno Heller, based on characters published by DC Comics and appearing in theBatman franchise, primarily those of James Gordon and Bruce Wayne. The series stars Ben McKenzie as the young Gordon, while Heller executive produces along with Danny Cannon, who also directed the pilot.

As originally conceived, the series would have served as a straightforward story of Gordon's early days on the Gotham City Police Department. The idea evolved not only to include the Wayne character, but also to tell the origin stories of several Batman villains, including the Penguin,the Riddler, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Two-Face, the Scarecrow, Mr. Freeze, Hugo Strange and the Joker.

Season 1

A new recruit in the Gotham City Police Department named James Gordon is paired with veteran detective Harvey Bullock to solve one of Gotham City's highest-profile cases: the murders of Thomas and Martha Wayne. During his investigation, Gordon meets the Waynes' son Bruce who is now in the care of his butler Alfred Pennyworth. Meeting the younger Wayne further compels Gordon to catch the mysterious killer. Along the way, Gordon becomes involved with Gotham's Mafia families and associates including gangster Fish Mooney, Don Carmine Falcone, and Don Salvatore Maroni. Eventually, Gordon is forced to form an unlikely friendship with Bruce, one that will help shape the boy's future in becoming Batman.[5]

Season 2 (Rise of the Villains)

In the second season, Gordon deals with criminal activities secretly orchestrated by siblings Theo and Tabitha Galavan as part of a plot to run Gotham City and get revenge on the Wayne Family by targeting Bruce Wayne. In the early days of Gotham City, Celestine Wayne was promised to a scion of the Elliott family, but was in love with Caleb Dumas. Discovered, she lied and accused Caleb of forcing himself on her. Celestine's brother Jonathan severed Caleb's hand and the Waynes ensured the Dumas family's ostracism and financial ruin. Many members of the Dumas family fled to Europe to seek haven within a religious sect formed by their family's patron saint known as the Order of Saint Dumas while those who remained in Gotham changed their surname to Galavan. Theo concocted a convoluted revenge plot he believes will redeem his family's name.
